Health and Safety in the workplace is of paramount importance to Production Technologies.

Production Technologies is committed to providing and maintaining its employees, clients and others, with a work environment free from foreseeable hazards and potential harm.

Production Technologies implements strategic policies to minimise or eliminate foreseeable hazards in the workplace, and provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Consultation with employees and clients is of paramount importance to Production Technologies in providing a safe and healthy work environment. Employees and clients are encouraged to contribute to the making of decisions affecting their health, safety and welfare. Consultation and communication ensures that all parties involved understand the job, the requirements to achieve the job, and the risks involved. Production Technologies seeks to manage occupational health and safety by encouraging employees and clients to report any hazards to management.

Information and training

To ensure work safety and health, employees must be fully informed of the job, their role, and their responsibilities to others. Each employee must be trained and feel confident in carrying out the task at hand. The information and training must be equal with the health and safety risks involved, and control measures must be adhered to. Production Technologies provides those exposed to risk in the workplace with information on the risks, as well as instructions and training necessary to ensure personal health and safety.

Maintenance of equipment, personnel and health and safety information ensures that safety risks are constantly controlled and that any problems that arise can be dealt with in an expeditious manner. Maintaining safe and tested equipment and open access to current health and safety information, assists in creating an incident free work environment for all involved.

Production Technologies adheres and enforces rules and regulations on all events as described in:

Work Health & Safety Act 2011
Protection of Environmental Operations Act 1997
Contaminated Land Management Act 1997

Environmental noise

All designs are sensitive to issues of environmental noise and we take all measures to minimise the impact of event sound on the local community.

Sound designs executed take into account local venue and council restrictions, and are presented to accredited designers and council advisories prior to execution.

Environmental awareness

Production Technologies offset 100% of utilised energy through the PureEnergy100 scheme.

This scheme is operated by Energy Australia and executed across all of our events as well as internal company operations throughout the year.

Equipment & Plant deployment

Production Technologies endeavour to utilise Bio Diesel power generation wherever possible in place of conventional Diesel power devices to best minimise environmental impact. By also deploying generator activity devices where possible, staff can monitor and minimise the use of generators based on usage patterns to better scale down environmental impact.
